Water Bender Ame Shinzue

Name: Ame Shinzue (Meaning Rain Essence or Rain Spirit)

Appearance: Ame has long Golden brown hair with blue streaks randomly placed through the silky strands. Though people of that day had no way of dying hair, her odd
color was natural much to the confusion of her people. She is 5'7" tall with a dark tanned skin tone. Her eyes are a foggy sapphire, giving away the fact that she is blind. She weighs 120 pounds and holds the perfect hour glass shape that every man dreams of. She is usually seen wearing black pants and a blue tunic embroidered with silver designs of the moon and water, a black sash tying it around her small curvy waist. Or wearing a traditional blue kimono with silver cherry blossoms and snow flakes sewn in random places within the fabric. The kimono is tied around her waist with a red silk sash and her hair is usually tied up into two high pony tails.

Around her neck was a black choker with a blue gold stone pendant in the shape of a 12 point star. The blue gold stone is unique in design, a rare find in their time, a dark blue like the night sky with silver and gold speckles that looks like stars twinkling when the light hits them, giving the illusion of the night sky being trapped within a common stone. Around her right wrist and form arm were multiple silver ringlet bracelets that jingled softly as she walked, only not many knew this, within the center of these bracelets water had been placed, that way she could manipulate the bracelets into deadly weapons when she needed to.




History:Ame was an orphan, her parents having died when she was very young while protecting the village from invading fire benders. She was then taken in by the healer of the tribe and called her Aunt Yugoda. When Ame was 7 she grew tired of learning the healing ways of water bending, having already mastered it much faster then most others could imagine, she a natural talent for water bending. She would often spy on Master Pakku as he trained the boys, without him knowing. She would practice what she saw and taught herself. But one day, when Ame was 11, the fire nation came to invade, another futile attempt in the end. Yet sadly during the attacks, Ame was wounded badly and lost her sense of sight while coming forth to defend her home. Fighting bending was illegal for women to do or learn however and after a trial she was banished even though she had protected her nation.

Ame sought refuge in the Earth Kingdom, but not with out strengths, by this time she was not only a master in healing but in water bending period. At first it was hard for her while newly blinded but soon she adapted and found a new way that her water bending skills could help her. Not unlike Toph, she was able to see with her element. Though it had it's faults, she had a much better sight perception then Toph. Water was everywhere, in the air, in the ground, in people and after more years of practice and honing her skills, she could see far further and with much more detail then any other human. It helped with her regular bending aswell as her healing, able to see certain ailments within the persons body now. That was how she survived, she was a healer for hire. Though she didn't tend to charge those that were too poor, she was more of a healer for hire only for those she knew had money.

Companion: A large, white wolf she named Muzai that she healed as a puppy when she was 12,whom followed her around ever since, even after discouraging him and splashing him with water. He still always came back and some how found her. He has streaks of blue through his fur, much like those of Ame's hair. When he was fully grown be grew to be about 8 in feet length, while his shoulders stood at 4 feet high. Large enough to carry her on his back.

Yea, a water blind person would probably be a lot better than an earth person 'cause of the whole blood bending and all that.
